My name is Santiago Mora. I am a university professor in Fredericton NB, Canada. Beginning today, November the 1st, 2013, I am undergoing a hunger strike to protest against the court decision to sequestrate 83% of my salary during divorce procedures initiated by my wife, Claudia Rocha. This dramatic reduction in my income forces me to sell my house and survive on an amount which is by far insufficient to cover my basic needs, not to mention the needs of my children. I respectfully ask New Brunswick's Minister of Justice to intercede and arrange for me a hearing with a Judge as soon as possible.
